The “Hyojun Mondaishu I, 2nd Edition” book is published as a companion to “Minna no Nihongo I, 2nd Edition.” This book is a collection of basic practice exercises designed to assess retention, organize learning, and check the level of achievement for each lesson item found in the main textbook “Minna no Nihongo I, 2nd Edition.”

The exercises in each lesson are designed to be used either in the classroom or as homework, serving as a concluding activity to enhance learners' practice opportunities and enable them to assess their individual progress. Furthermore, instructors may collect and review these workbooks to gain insight into the learners' practice situation. When necessary, they can allocate time for review and provide individualized guidance to help improve the learners' daily study routines.

In addition to the two-page set of exercises for each lesson, we have included summary review exercises that can be used for revision purposes (covering Lessons 1 to 8, Lessons 9 to 17, Lessons 18 to 25, and Lessons 1 to 25).
