Genba no Nihongo – Japanese for Practitioners Glossary Version

Japanese language education, as an effort to develop human resources in Indonesia, requires broad thinking. Especially in the era of "Merdeka Belajar" (Freedom to Learn), which demands students to be skilled in various fields, the availability of teaching materials, curriculum changes, and improvements in teaching skills that align with the demands of "Merdeka Belajar" (Freedom to Learn) are crucial. Furthermore, Japan has opened up opportunities for international students to undertake internships at various companies domiciled in Japan. Consequently, there is a need for individuals who can apply their language skills in the workplace. To meet this demand, the International Multicultural Center (I'Mc) and the publisher Lintas Cipta Pustaka (LINCIP) consistently strive to be responsive in serving the community's needs.

As part of these efforts, the International Multicultural (I'Mc) Center, in collaboration with Lintas Cipta Pustaka (LINCIP) Publishing and Publishing 3A Network of Japan, has established a partnership in the field of educational publishing. The aim is to enrich the availability of Japanese language teaching materials that are practical and tailored to real-world workplace needs. On this occasion, we have agreed to publish theGenba no Nihongo, book series, which is particularly suitable for future interns who wish to acquire practical Japanese language skills that can be immediately applied in their respective work environments.

This book consists of three books, namely “Genba no Nihongo Kisohen Hataraku Gaikokujin no Tame no Nihongo Komyunikeshon”, “Genba no Nihongo Oyohen Hataraku Gaikokujin no Tame no Nihongo Komyunikeshon”, “Genba no Nihongo Tangocho Seizogyo Hataraku Gaikokujin no Tame no Kotoba”.

On this occasion, on behalf of myself and the institution, I would like to thank the publisher. 3A Network, Japan for providing the International Multicultural (I'Mc) Center and Lintas Cipta Pustaka (LINCIP) publishers with the opportunity to publish this book. We would also like to thank the team behind the Japanese language textbook series "Genba no Nihonngo” from AOTS, which has compiled this teaching material. With this teaching material, users are expected to improve their Japanese language skills and develop adaptability in various workplaces.
